The News Herald— For many Panama City Beach restaurant owners, staying open year-round is simply not worth it.
Yonnie Patronis, owner of Capt. Anderson’s Restaurant, said closing for the winter months costs less than trying to keep the restaurant open. Capt. Anderson’s closed for the season Nov. 10 and will reopen Jan. 24. Patronis said during the late fall months before the seasonal closure, the restaurant staff serves barely 20 percent of the customers they do in the summer months. Continue
