Internet "Cafes" or CASINO'S, Courts may soon decide! |

Florida Today - Patrons of the Lucky Pelican Internet Cafe in Suntree say they don’t want anyone taking away the fun. They come to the strip shopping center outlet off Wickham Road — some occasionally, others every day — for a bit of entertainment and camaraderie, as they vie for cash and other prizes.
But state and local officials, spurred by the proliferation of so-called “Internet cafes” in Florida, are considering increased regulation. The scrutiny intensified last week, when Internet cafes with links to the St. Augustine-based Allied Veterans of the World charity were the focus of raids in Florida and five other states. Continue
