Palestinian and Middle Eastern all-day cafe currently under construction in Jamaica Plain’s Hyde Square. Menu will include coffee, tea, pastries, falafel, hummus, shawarma, maqluba, and musakhan. Open from early morning until 9 p.m. Owned by Reverend Ashlee Wiest-Laird, pastor of First Baptist Church in Jamaica Plain. No official opening timeline announced yet.
Karma Asian Fusion
Karma Asian Fusion, an upscale Asian fusion/sushi chain with six existing Massachusetts locations, is expanding to Boston’s South End, taking over the former Oishii space at 1166 Washington St. Founded in 2006 by chef Iverson Guo, the restaurant offers sushi, specialty rolls, Asian comfort food, and craft cocktails. Prost Brewing Co. is opening its fifth Colorado biergarten at The Lookout at Clear Creek Crossing in Wheat Ridge.
