Features original heart pine floors, custom cypress beds, continental breakfast, wraparound porch with rocking chairs. Rooms start at $175 weeknights, $350 weekends.

New Yemeni coffee shop concept coming to Cahaba Heights, positioned as a community gathering place offering authentic Yemeni coffee culture. Located between Milo’s Hamburgers and Cahaba Dermatology.

Tru by Hilton hotel under construction in Spanish Fort, with beam signing/topping out ceremony recently held. Part of nearly 200 rooms being added to the area along with TownePlace Suites.

Local on Dexter

New brick-and-mortar brunch restaurant from food truck company Funky Forte. Will feature full bar, breakfast and lunch service seven days a week, and courtyard seating. Space currently under renovation.

Drury Plaza Hotel Mobile

New Drury Plaza Hotel under construction in Mobile, Alabama. Part of Drury Hotels chain which operates over 150 hotels in 30 states.

Unnamed Hotel Project

Proposed 150-room hotel on former Days Inn site. Third hotel opportunity being considered by city. Hotel operator currently weighing options and in active conversations with city.

Tru by Hilton

Tru by Hilton hotel under construction in Spanish Fort, part of two new hotels that will provide almost 200 rooms and meeting spaces combined. City officials held beam signing/topping out ceremony.

Japanese-inspired cocktail and sushi lounge in Five Points South offering premium sake, handcrafted cocktails and sushi in a chic atmosphere. Located in the historic Shepard-Sloss Building. Founded by Paige Depperschmidt who previously co-founded Sands of Sahara.

Henrietta’s Deli

Popular deli relocating to new Main Street location in Trussville Entertainment District. Will continue serving breakfast and lunch, with plans to expand dinner offerings including beef carpaccio, bone marrow, gulf fish, and venison.
