Los Altos-based bagel chain expanding to Sacramento region with new location at Laguna Crossroads shopping mall. Known for New York-style bagels, inventive sandwiches, and house-made cream cheeses.
The 1920s Bookstore
Bookstore and cocktail lounge concept opening in Pioneer Square’s underground brick courtyard. Features speakeasy-style cocktail program inspired by American drinking culture from Prohibition era through 1970s, with live music planned.
Hidden Dumpling House
Third location of family-owned dumpling restaurant serving casual Chinese staples like dumplings, noodles, stir-fry, and bubble tea. Space currently undergoing renovations with 21 indoor tables and 12 outdoor tables planned. Pet-friendly location.

Pizza Guys has signed development agreements for six future locations across California markets including San Jose, Westminster, Tustin, San Diego, Lathrop and Anaheim. These locations are currently in progress.

Restaurant switching from table service to counter service with more casual menu focusing on sustainability, affordability, and inclusivity. Will offer hot and cold rice bowls and stuffed roti wraps, with weekend specials from original menu.

California Mediterranean bistro bar opening in former Cafe Flore space. 954-square-foot wedge-shaped space at prominent Castro corner. Plans phased rollout with lighter menu initially, then expanding shortly after opening.
Hideaway Cottages Resort
Century-old resort being renovated and expanded from 20 to 36 guest rooms. Will include boutique hotel with check-in lobby, meeting space, small spa, food preparation area, and new pool/spa. Planning Commission approved the project.
