Waterfront restaurant opening at the former Santa Maria Restaurant location, lost to Hurricane Matthew ~10 years ago. Owner David White confirmed a November 2026 opening. BBQ restaurant opening a second location at Crooked Can Brewing’s City Center Market food hall in Minneola, FL. Menu includes ribs, brisket, pulled pork, loaded fries, and handmade sides. Celebrity chef Joshua Adam Garcia (Chef Jag), known from Food Network Star, is opening Davanti, a French-inspired fine-dining concept with seating for approximately 80 guests in downtown Orlando. The Orlando CRA has approved funding to support the opening. Chef Garcia has 30+ years of culinary experience specializing in Latin Fusion with French and Italian influences.
