The Tot Spot Jax

The Tot Spot Jax, Jacksonville’s first tater tot food truck, appears to be relaunching after going dark. Plan review paperwork has been submitted by The Tot Spot Jax Inc for the food truck, indicating operations will resume soon. Owner John Scaramuzzi was not available for comment at time of publication.

Cafe 55

Cafe 55 LLC is opening a new cafe/restaurant at a retail center on the northwest corner of Discovery Way and Beach Boulevard. Owner Qiwei Sun confirmed the opening is expected sometime next month (August 2026). Menu details are not yet available, though the name suggests a coffee component. Plan review documents have been submitted.

Zoe Caribbean Grill

New Haitian food and beverage food truck setting up at Empowered Kitchen (2346 W Beaver St) as home base, with primary operations at the MWR Mayport flea market near the military base. Co-owner Markens Redon confirmed August 2026 opening. Plan review paperwork has been submitted.
