Seafood restaurant planned to open next door to Arnette’s Chop Shop in Brookhaven. Owner Michel Arnette plans to open Siren later this summer.

Botanico

Botanico is a Mexican steakhouse on Crescent Avenue in Atlanta, scheduled to open in August 2026. It is one of two new hospitality concepts launched by the team behind Palo Santo, which is closing on June 27th.

Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse is coming to Covington Town Center, a 180-acre mixed-use development. Plans have been officially submitted to the city’s planning and zoning department. Opening timeline is unclear.

Bar Schmutzi

European-inspired wine bar from Little Bear founder Jarrett Stieber. 1,300 sq ft space in former East Atlanta Animal Clinic. Will feature concise food menu with snacks and small plates alongside wine focus. Pet-friendly patio, communal seating, open kitchen, retro elements. Permitting underway. Target opening is end of 2026, with Q1/Q2 2027 as fallback.

Bagels & Board Games

Board game cafe serving bagels, bagel sandwiches, cream cheeses, and coffee. Customers pay a table fee for access to a board game library including board games and trading card games (Magic the Gathering, Pokemon). Planned hours 8am-8pm most days. Owner envisions future expansion to additional locations and states.

7 Brew

Franchise group Rocket Brew, Inc. is seeking city approval to demolish an existing 1,889 sq ft building (formerly a gift shop) and construct a new 897 sq ft drive-through building with two drive-through lanes and a walk-up window for a 7 Brew coffee stand. Sagra

Sagra is a new wine bar from Bacchanalia sommelier Eric Di Nardo, opening in East Atlanta Village in late July or early August. In addition to wine, Sagra will offer sourdough focaccia and pizzas.

High Noon Brunchery

Georgia’s first all-pink café and brunch destination relocating from Douglasville to a 4,000 sq ft space in Buckhead previously occupied by Another Broken Egg Café. Menu features pancakes, French toast, omelets, breakfast sandwiches, vegan plates, and Southern-style dishes. Co-founders are Lorenzo Wyche (CEO of AADOF Hospitality) and Porche Perryman. Targeting August 1 opening.

J. Alexander’s

J. Alexander’s is opening its fourth Georgia location in Peachtree City, south of Atlanta. Upscale wood-fired cuisine, classic American fare. Plans to hire 90-100 front- and back-of-house staff. Hiring begins June 22, 2026 at on-site hiring center. Set to open late August 2026.

Brewhouse Cafe

Co-owner Michele Bermuvez is set to open a second Brewhouse Cafe location in Atlanta just before the city’s first World Cup game on June 15, 2026. The soccer bar will implement a 20% service charge and $25-per-person minimum spend during World Cup games.
