A new unnamed restaurant is planning to open on South Main Street in downtown Hopkinsville, KY, in the space where The Local previously operated. The space is currently being renovated. The new restaurant aims to open this winter. No further details have been shared.
Mexican-inspired restaurant and bar (name unknown)
A Mexican-inspired restaurant and bar is expected to open soon at the former site of Nami Modern Korean Steakhouse in the Butchertown neighborhood. The business name has not yet been revealed. The location previously housed a restaurant owned by celebrity chef Edward Lee.
Smalls Sliders
First Smalls Sliders location in Kentucky, planned for the Idle Hour shopping center on Richmond Road at the former Coba Cocina site. Will feature a double drive-thru, outdoor patio seating, and a walk-up ordering window. Construction planned to begin within 45-60 days, with opening by end of 2026 or early 2027.
