Culver’s
Culver’s is planning its first Columbia, SC location at 2744 Clemson Road in northeast Columbia, near the intersection of Clemson and Longtown Roads. This will be the first Midlands-area location. Owner/operator Ryan Gabel says construction has begun and anticipates opening in October 2026. Menu will feature ButterBurgers, chicken sandwiches, seafood, salads, and fresh frozen custard.
The Larrikin
New all-day cafe concept from chef Michael Toscano, who also operates Le Farfalle, Da Toscano Porchetta Shop, Fugazzi, and Blanca Estrada in Charleston. Menu will be coffee-focused with beans from multiple roasters, plus beer, wine, spirits, and ‘hearty but healthy’ food options including grain bowls. Hours will be 7am-9pm. No official opening date announced yet.
