Arizona-based restaurant and wine bar Postino is opening a new location at Village at Westlake in late summer 2026. It will be Postino’s third Austin location and 12th in Texas. The location will feature Austin-themed wallpaper and a piggy bank mural. Menu focuses on sharable dishes and bruschetta varieties.

Fidelo’s Mexican Restaurant

Fidelo’s Mexican Restaurant, a 20-year San Antonio staple known for homemade tortillas and Mexican comfort food, is relocating from 10929 Nacogdoches Road to a larger 1,850 sq ft space at 10447 Nacogdoches Road. Construction is underway at the new site. A 2024 TDLR project filing shows estimated construction costs of $350,000. No opening date announced.

Georgetown Food Truck Park

Applicant Qing Chen has requested a special use permit to create a permanent mobile food truck park off I-35 in Georgetown, TX. Plans include six vendors, parking, and restrooms. Missions Ballpark District Hotel

Weston Urban is planning a 160-key hotel as part of a larger mixed-use development surrounding the new San Antonio Missions ballpark in Downtown San Antonio. The overall project is now delayed to 2029. Hotel brand and specific address not yet announced. Developer is Weston Urban, CEO Randy Smith.
