Von’s 1000 Spirits

Seattle-based bar and restaurant expanding to Kirkland location in former Feast space. Will occupy 3,300 square feet near downtown waterfront. Menu includes sourdough pizzas, pastas, hamburgers, and full spirits program. Construction begins January 2026.

The Langley Sidebar

Legal-themed craft cocktail and wine bar owned by Brad Bales (municipal court judge and former prosecutor) and Mara Bales (Adobe Director). Will feature small plates, legal-themed cocktails, marble-and-mahogany bar, and private event space.

June & Co.

Fancy dive bar reopening after hiatus, relocating from former location. Upscale dive-bar feel with drinks from Miller Lite to high-end cocktails, plus bar snacks. Owned by Peter Froese of Gander and Ryegrass.

Haven Cafe

European-style coffee and boba cafe owned by Adrian ‘Adi’ and Salomei ‘Sally’ Marta. Still in design phase with cream-colored walls and minimalist aesthetic. Menu in development with hints of Romanian pastry offerings.

Tacos Cometa

Brothers Rey and Osiel Gastelum are opening their first brick-and-mortar storefront after success with their food stand. The restaurant will serve tacos inspired by their roots in Sinaloa, Mexico, with a simple aesthetic paying homage to Mexico City taquerias.

Tanaka Ramen Izakaya

Japanese ramen and izakaya-style restaurant opening in former Island Soul location. First Washington location for the brand which has locations in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, and Hawaii. Menu includes traditional Japanese ramen, rice bowls, izakaya-style small plates, and desserts.

Konala

Healthy fast-food franchise serving high-protein bowls. Corporate location planned near Gonzaga University in Spokane, WA. Additional location also planned in Reno, NV for 2026.

Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble flagship bookstore opening as part of 60-location U.S. expansion in 2026. Will be first downtown Seattle location since Pacific Place closure in 2020.

Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers

Louisiana-based fried chicken chain opening first Seattle location in University District. Multiple future signals indicate legitimate opening.

Javi’s Breakfast Cafe

Second location of breakfast spot featuring Latin-flavored morning options including Mexican omelet, chorizo scramble, chilaquiles and breakfast burritos. Also serves lunch items like burgers, sandwiches, salads and soup. Open 7am-2:30pm daily.
