1,800 square-foot Wayback Burgers franchise location owned by Willie and Phyllis Watson, creating approximately 30 new jobs. Will be the 12th Wayback Burgers location in Georgia.
Two restaurants at 1976 Hosea L. Williams
Two new restaurants planned as part of mixed-use development replacing former BBQ restaurant. Will include street-facing eateries with patio, part of larger project with apartments and office space.
Cafe Racer
Third location of popular breakfast spot opening along the Firefly Trail. 2,660-square-foot space with full kitchen, bar, covered patio and outdoor seating for 115 guests. Will serve expanded lunch and dinner menu in addition to classic breakfast.
JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown
Former W Atlanta Downtown converting to JW Marriott with 237 guest rooms, 24 wellness-focused rooms on Mindful Floor, Italian restaurant, rooftop pool bar, spa, fitness center. Operated by Stonebridge Companies with interior design by Looney & Associates.
Ike’s Cafe and Grill
West African restaurant expanding from ghost kitchen to 3,200-square-foot full-service dining destination with room for 100-120 guests, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner with African cuisine including jollof rice, suya, egusi soup, and grilled meats
Fincher’s BBQ
Family-owned barbecue restaurant expanding to Warner Robins location near Robins Air Force Base. Menu features pulled pork, ribs, chicken, pork chops, burgers and sandwiches. Company has been in business for 91 years with existing locations in Macon and Warner Robins.
La Tropical
La Tropical serves Puerto Rican, Cuban and Latin cuisine and will be the second location for the local brand, joining CTR Food Works in the former CNN Center space downtown. Offers dishes such as Cuban sandwiches, bacalaítos and arroz con pollo.
Middle Child
Wine bar concept being integrated into The Victorian plant store’s third location at Collier Hall. Will feature a 9-seat bar with wine, charcuterie and snacks in a 1,500-square-foot space. Ben Richardson designing the food and beverage program.
The Boiler Room
New bar by Hop City featuring beer, wine, cocktails and THC beverages in a 30-seat intimate space. Located in the former boiling room of a chicken processing plant at Upper West Market. Will have 24 beer taps and expanded wine offerings. No food menu – customers can take beverages throughout the market.
MilkShake Factory
MilkShake Factory’s newest metro Atlanta location opening in Roswell. Will celebrate with a free grand opening event from noon to 4 p.m. with BOGO offers and free t-shirts for first 100 guests. Joins existing locations in Cumming and Milton.
