Terrain Gardens plans to open a cafe, event venue, and retail store at the former Whole Foods location on Boston Post Road (Route 20) in Wayland, MA. The space has been long underused.
Mike’s Pastry
Mike’s Pastry, known for cannoli, cookies, and Italian desserts, is set to open a location in Terminal C at Boston Logan International Airport later in 2026, according to MarketPlace Development and Massport.
Chipotle Mexican Grill
Chipotle Mexican Grill is opening its second Worcester location at 105 Stafford St on July 22, 2026. Hours will be daily 10:45am-10pm. The location will feature Chipotle Honey Chicken and Cilantro Lime Sauce as limited-time offerings.
CAVA
Worcester Planning Board approved 4-0 a site plan for a new shopping plaza at 278 Grove St. that will include CAVA (2,580 sq ft Mediterranean chain) and First Watch (3,700 sq ft breakfast/brunch chain) as future tenants. Neither chain currently has a location in Worcester. Developer is Natick-based Stonegate Group LLC. No opening date specified.
