Southern Italian-focused restaurant concept planned to take over the former Aldar Bistro space in Bala Cynwyd. The two couples behind Gran Caffè L’Aquila in Center City are converting the Lebanese restaurant into Bruzi, which will feature house-made pastas, white tablecloths, and a robust beverage program. The Spring Country Club is opening a signature fine dining restaurant overlooking the golf course as part of broader renovations to its 55-acre property. The restaurant is described as opening in August 2026. The club is being reimagined as a modern private club destination with sports, wellness, and dining amenities.
Church’s Texas Chicken
Church’s Texas Chicken purchased 50,000 sq ft of commercial land at 2815 First St. E. in Bradenton for $975,000 to build its first Manatee County location. The site is between O’Reilly Auto Parts and Circle K, across from Firkins Automotive Group. No construction or opening date has been announced.
Taverna Pizza and Gyro
Taverna Pizza and Gyro is a pizzeria and Greek restaurant coming soon to Beaumont’s Westbrook Shopping Center at 4405 Calder Ave. Owner Bardi Demiri announced a hiring push for servers, cashiers, cooks, and kitchen prep staff. The restaurant is replacing the former Bocca Felice Italian restaurant which closed in 2024.
Zaxby’s
Zaxby’s chicken restaurant chain is coming soon to Salisbury, MD at 1520 S. Salisbury Blvd. (formerly Robinson’s Jewelers) along U.S. Route 13. Franchisee Curtis Snyder is developing three locations on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. No exact grand opening date has been announced yet.

New Baton Rouge location of NYC-born Prince St. Pizza, known for Sicilian-style square pies and pepperoni-loaded slices. Former UFC champion Jon Jones has joined as an ownership partner.
