Raising Cane’s opening two new California locations in August 2026. The Fontana location at 16940 Slover Ave opens Aug 17. A Thousand Oaks location at 400 N. Moorpark Road is also opening (Monday, Aug 11 implied). Additional locations opening in Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, Alabama, and Georgia.

Fine dining restaurant featuring elevated Southern-Latin cuisine in the historic Springfield neighborhood. Owner Nichole Brown and Chef Michael Ray. Open Wednesday through Saturday with 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. seating times. Features a hidden cigar room and adjacent Cove coffee area.
IHOP/Applebee’s (Dual-Brand)
Existing IHOP in Porter, TX is set to become a dual-brand IHOP/Applebee’s restaurant via a $150,000 renovation. The project will add 836 sq ft to the existing 4,102 sq ft building. Chick-fil-A received conditional approval from the Adrian Planning Commission on Aug. 4, 2026 for a new location at 1369 Division St, near Lowe’s. Plans include an 88-seat restaurant with children’s play area, outdoor dining, and dual drive-thru lanes. Final permits pending resolution of conditions related to parking, landscaping, pedestrian access, lighting, and ADA compliance.
Lloyd’s Pizza Co.
Chef Kevin Scharpf and co-owner David Hannaman are opening Lloyd’s Pizza Co., a Neapolitan-style pizzeria at 4949 Asbury Road in Asbury, IA. Chick-fil-A has submitted plans to demolish the former Bahama Breeze restaurant outside Ocean County Mall and build a new location with drive-thru service. A developer purchased the former Bowery Grille & Pub property and plans to demolish the building and replace it with a multi-tenant space that includes a Bayt al Mocha coffee shop. Plans are currently in review phase with Canton Township.
Dina’s Authentic Dominican Kitchen
Dina’s Authentic Dominican Kitchen, currently located in Flagship City Food Hall at 22 N. Park Row, is planning to open a second location on the west side of Erie on Peninsula Drive. Owner Dina Csir confirmed the expansion after years of customer requests.
