Rice Stop is a new restaurant opening in Hutto serving Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine alongside boba tea. Located in the former Stockade Kitchen space near Home Depot and Panera Bread. Construction is actively underway on the dining room.
Tejas Meat Supply
Butcher shop and restaurant expanding to Taylor location. $350,000 remodel of existing restaurant space with new bar, service counter, dining furniture and kitchen equipment. Features fresh cut meats from sustainable Texas ranches, house made sausages, jerky, charcuterie, artisan foods, beer and wines.

New Popeyes location opening in Nederland, TX. Construction expected to start in July and wrap by end of year. $250,000 project for 2,215 square-foot quick service restaurant. Operated by CSM Group which already owns multiple Popeyes locations in Texas.
Lucky Patty Smash Burgers
Popular San Antonio food truck opening first brick-and-mortar location in the Maverick Building. $1.2 million renovation of 2,000-square-foot space with commercial kitchen and dining. Construction starts end of April 2026.
Laika Cheesecake
Fifth location of Laika Cheesecake & Espresso, a gourmet cheesecake and espresso shop. Construction slated to start in May and wrap up before mid-November. Offers cheesecakes made from scratch with sugar-free, gluten-free, and keto options, plus signature espresso drinks.
