Third San Antonio-area location for the North Carolina-based fried chicken chain. Construction estimated at $1.8 million, location near train tracks and Randolph Air Force Base off of 1604.

The Lighthouse Seafood is reopening in a new location on Fredericksburg Road after closing their previous location on April 7. Family-owned restaurant serving affordable fried fish, just signed lease for new spot.
JW Marriott San Antonio River Walk
301-key JW Marriott hotel created through $164M adaptive reuse of office tower. 13-story hotel with additional amenity building featuring parking and rooftop pool. Located beside the River Walk.
Everhome Suites
New Everhome Suites hotel by Choice Hotels International, expected to reach over 54,000 square feet. Features fully equipped kitchens, on-site laundry and 24-hour market. Construction scheduled to begin July 2026.
True Texas BBQ
H-E-B owned award-winning barbecue restaurant opening in San Marcos’s third H-E-B location, a 114,000-square-foot store. Will be the city’s first True Texas BBQ location serving slow-smoked meats over Texas oak wood.
