Loyalty Rewards Program by Billboard Rewards

Do you have the fishbowl in your establishment for your guests to drop a business card so you can add them to your E-Mail list? Or perhaps a legal pad for them to give you their information? Maybe you have to text-a-keyword-to-a-number program to register them for text advertising? Today’s tech savvy customers are getting very leery to give this information by these methods. And you only get a phone number!

What about a rewards program for your best and regular customers? Punch card? Scan cards? Is there a better way?

Billboard Rewards can give you a 21st century way to gather this information with their high tech high touch terminal that sits on the counter. The touchpad invites people with its attractive custom design. Research shows that customers, especially the younger crowd, are drawn to touch screens and are not intimidated into giving the information you want!

After registering, every time they return they simply enter their mobile phone number to log in. The system registers their visits and rewards them with the special you determine on the number of visits, that again, you determine. Say half off a sandwich with any drink purchase after five visits. For higher visit counts a free lunch or dinner.

The back office, which you can access from any on-line computer, will show you who has visited and when. You can then send them a text or an E-Mail. You can address the whole database to send everyone news of a new menu item or a special sale coming up. You can also sort the list by whatever criteria you desire, like most visits for a special offer or if someone has not been back recently, invite them with a free soda with purchase. Blast a text to the entire list at 10:00 AM when many people are on their morning break and let them know what today’s lunch special is. If this gets to them as they are sitting with co-workers having coffee the discussion will begin as to where to go for lunch. And who is on top of their mind?

Is Florida the Next Foodie hot spot? Print
Monday, 13 May 2013 10:58

Wsj.com - Is there more to Florida cuisine than fried grouper, rice and beans and Key lime pie?

It’s a question that begs to be asked in light of a culinary mini-revolution that seems to be taking place in the Sunshine State – one that’s yielded a bold array of eateries, covering a broad spectrum of styles and specialties beyond seafood or Cuban (or beyond that signature pie, which true Floridians know should never be green-colored). And that’s on top of a growing farm-to-table movement within the state, as evidenced by a new book, “Field to Feast: Recipes Celebrating Florida Farmers, Chefs, and Artisans” (University Press of Florida). The Associated Press - FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. - Eleven soldiers from Fort Bragg want to say "thank you" to whoever paid for their meals at a Florida Panhandle restaurant.

The soldiers stopped at Sonny's BBQ restaurant in Fort Walton Beach on their last day of a two-week training mission last week. When they went to pay, they were told the check had already been taken care of.

Rose Lintz, whose husband Philip was in the group, emailed the Northwest Florida Daily News about the kind act.

The soldiers say an older customer held the door open for them when they entered the restaurant. The soldiers chatted with the man and his wife until they were all seated. The couple left first.

The waitress told them their meal had been paid for but wouldn't say who paid.

Gulfportpatch.com - A Gopher Tortoise that was a repeat customer at the Gulfport Cafe was rescued by the owners and handed over to Howell's Angels Wildlife Rehabilitation and Rescue, which is making sure the little guy will be placed in a safe and more natural habitat.

The Gopher Tortoise, a threatened species, somehow wandered on to the premises of Gulfport Cafe, at 5808 28th Ave. South. The owners and staff were delighted to see the reptile, which by the way is the State Tortoise of Florida.

They gave it some leafy Romaine and banana slices, which prompted the Gopher Tortoise to return the next day for more. Continue
