A lawsuit filed in Davidson County, TN by a doctor said that after ordering drinks from the bar at Rippy's Bar and Grill violent events that led to bouncers choking him until he was unconscious.
Murfreesboro doctor Donald Mitchell, his wife and friends were at Rippy's Bar and Grill on June 10, 2012 during the CMA Music Fest, when they ordered drinks from the bar instead of their waitress, which is against house rules.Continue

It’s ironic that if you rob a bank with a gun you face less jail time in many states than if you fail to collect or remit sales tax. In Florida, the threshold for a felony offense is as low as $300. While a first offender who pockets a few bucks in sales tax probably isn’t going to prison, having a felony record and having your face in the local paper doing the “perp walk” is never good for business. Wood Food Concepts, better known to Texas residents as Cheddar’s, has been named in a recent slip and fall lawsuit that allegedly happened two years ago when a customer fell while inside of the restaurant.
On September 14th, Mary Jones, of Jefferson County, filed a lawsuit in the Jefferson County Courthouse against the Cheddar’s restaurant in Beaumont, Texas. According to her complaint, Jones walked into the eatery in September of 2010 to order food and dine in. Shortly after entering the restaurant, however, she slipped and fell as a result of alleged wet floors inside the restaurant.
