Flhip.com’s Social Medial Success story!

I was not really a strong Social Media proponent when it first came out. My kids were on Facebook and said I should get on so I did and waited, nothing happened. I knew nothing about it.  Then I got on LinkedIn. Then I started getting it. Social Medias are tools to help you get information to people who may need it.

Once I started Flhip.com I saw no social medial application that might help. I set up a FB page but it just sat there. Then I started a weekly newsletter and that was good but still not much going on. Then I started linking my Blog and newsletter to Facebook and Twitter and started seeing results.

Over the last 6 months or so I’ve seen my website traffic multiply 4 fold! The chart below shows traffic to Flhip.com for the past year. I started the newsletter and the blog in the fall of 2011 and you can see for yourself the traffic pattern. Quite an increase over previous months! So what does this mean?

If you’re a vendor this is great news because it means four times as many viewers are coming to FLHIP than ever before. And this is where you need to be.  They are coming because the newsletter sends them to the blog and while there they look around and maybe at your listing or to request a quote.

See the results for yourself!
