In the first quarter of 2012, 6 percent of restaurant visits (926 million visits) were influenced by online marketing, reports market research company The NPD Group. Additionally, those restaurant visits supported 8 percent of all spending for restaurant meals/snacks, and the influence is expected to increase. Continue

On Friday, an elderly couple entered the Bar-L-Bar-B-Q restaurant in Cedartown around noon and asked permission to use the business phone. The couple was lost and asked for directions to I-75.

Within minutes, the restaurant received a call back from the couple's daughter who stated that her parents were missing from Lakeland Florida. The daughter stated that the couple had left on Thursday to go wash their car and had not been seen since. Continue
