Shrimpers and sellers may find themselves fishing in a smaller ocean. The South Atlantic Fishery Management Council is considering expanding the closed area almost to St. Augustine and a bit further west toward the shore off the Space Coast. Currently the closed area is from Cape Canaveral to Ft Pierce.
Tuesday night Shrimpers and The Fish Management Council met to discuss the expansion of the closed area. Obviously the Shrimpers have a vested interested in the new plan as well as restaurant owners and seafood sellers. To get the who story,
