Jacksonville.com - Following Tim Tebow’s release Monday from the New York Jets, Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan reaffirmed that the team’s plans do not include the 25-year-old quarterback.

But there’s a good chance Tebow will be back in Northeast Florida by summer’s end — sort of.

The former Nease High standout, two-time national champion Florida Gator and Heisman Trophy winner plans to invest in “several” North Florida locations of PDQ, a Tampa-based fast-casual chicken sandwich chain, according to a report published Sunday on the Tampa Tribune’s website.
