Propane explosion rocks Denny's Print

Wctv.tv - Doris Dailey was in the Denny's when the explosion happened. She said "we thought it was a fire cracker, some kid setting off a fire cracker and then we saw the flames. And then we saw the smoke filling the restaurant and then everything was just flying around in there so we took off running."

Around one in the afternoon on Friday this Flying J's Travel Plaza was rocked by a massive blast.

Flying J's Spokesman Stephen Coats said "we had an explosion in the Denny's kitchen caused by a propane leak."

Doris and about a hundred other people poured out of the building. Most were unharmed, but not all. Paige Dukes is the Lowndes County Clerk. She said "there were five that were injured. Updated information indicates that there were only three that were taken to local hospitals." Continue
